Someone said "'bout them Saints?" to me tonight. I threw up a little in my mouth.

You should have rattled off a list giving your preferences. Like St. Bede I like, St. Augustine of Hippo not so bad. St. Jerome...really a bit of an ass.

At least they are getting people excited about NO. Maybe it will get people to notice things. Could be.

I know. But the more people that travel down there...even for games...the more that will leave with thoughts in their head. Even if it is just a few.

You know I think it is a good thing that the Saints are doing so well. It brings fucking people here. We as a city seem to need it because tourism is the only thing that seems to matter. Whether or not it is right or wrong is mute. It just is.

I was a Saints fan from birth. They lost me as a fan last year because of the way the owner decided to behave after the storm. After watching last night's game that team has my heart again. The players seem to give a shit about the city. Which is a hell of a lot more than some.

Yet another post I don't know how to reply to. If you've got a beef with me, come upstairs and let me have it, but don't get all snippy with me in my livejournal. Please don't do that.

I'm more annoyed with people who previously didn't care about football jumping all over the bandwagon and what not.
