The Muppets Could Sing About It

Aug 24, 2005 09:20

Despite my electricity having been turned off last night (due to delinquency) and my car breaking down (due to God Knows Why), last night was pretty wonderful.

I'm trying to let go of attachments these days. To not judge the past, present, or future. To get out of my own way. To make small steps in good directions.

So far, so good.

electricity is for the weak. although you're black light posters are rendered useless, you still have your gargoyle candles to keep you entertained.

Black light posters? Gargoyle candles? Pussy-ass hippie shit, man. I'm all about the Budweiser neon signs and the four-foot hookahs. It's Spring Break, sucka.

Sadly, yes. Happily, the car's been fixed, and so I'll be on the road ... to West Virginia ... shortly.

A joke. After your rant about a phone call from an ex, I certainly wouldn't dare show up in person. I'd be humiliated.

Do you have electricity now?? Let me know if you need anything.

So when are we hanging out? There is a good and cheap sushi happy hour at a place called Maiko(I think 5:30-7pm). We could go to my restaurant, Uchi, 5:30-6:30 happy hour, but it is not cheap at all, but oh so yummy!! What are your plans after work today? Today is the only day I can go this week. We could do it next week if you can't today. Call me.
