Yay for AVG tune-up that emptied lots of disk space on my HDD, Christmas Toyland at Gardens by the Bay, a day out at RWS’ SEA Aquarium with the family, and our first Thai mookata and pat bingsu. It’s never too late to experience places, food, and play catch-up on learning science. -

I’m starting to enjoy using my tablet on commute to read eBooks, and on Friday nights too.
It was lovely to see the autograph of an author i respect, and his note - "life and love - all that matters." Holding that thin volume in my hands was indescribable.

when there's life, there's hope
Christmas last year was awesome and lack-lustre at the same time. the former, because this was the first time ever that we had a Christmas tree at home (albeit tiny), turkey drumsticks, and carols. the family also checked out the Christmas lights together on Christmas Eve. missed the christmas service since i overslept, and lied in bed and teared ( Read more... ) -
on growing and keeping the faith
life and people can be so ugly. i'm starting to lose faith in human goodness, especially in places where it is expected to triumph and flourish. however, i'm thankful for selected friends and family who are daily reminders of His grace and mercy, and i really need to learn to extend this to people who least deserve it, because they need it the most ( Read more... ) -

Used to hate and avoid ginger tea at all costs. Now i'm a TCM and ginger tea convert due to some incident. it is AMAZING. so tastes do change even at this age ( Read more... )
