Well these recent days past sure have been fun. This past weekend was filled with hockey (as it most always is). Had hockey practice late Friday, same old practice, but a tad more fun since no coaches were in sight. Well the past couple of days have been fun. On Tuesday Jake was set to move into his new house, just a few blocks over from his old house, but thankfully away from his all orthodox neighborhood. The holiday season is always hectic, this one no different. X-mas went well, got all my shopping done the day before, this was the first year that I actually spent a good deal of time and money on gifts. NJIT made the trip to the only away game in NJ when we faced CCM at Mennen Ice Arena in Morristown. We were a bit rushed when we were told that we have to be on the ice by 6:30 instead of the posted 6:45 time. Regardless we got on the ice with no problem and we were ready to play. What a fun Saturday it was. At around 5:30pm or so, we all departed for the hour and forty minute trip up to Bridgeport CT. After being stuck in traffic for a good hour or so trying to get over the GW Bridge, we finally made it to Wonderland of Ice in Bridgeport. What a game, it was truly something like a circus. NJIT made the hour and a half trip up to Poughkeepsie NY to face New Paltz at the Mid-Hudson Civic Centre.
