I should really stop trying to guess what you're going to do next, because I'm ALWAYS wrong, in a good way :) Real life has been insanely crazy lately, but I wanted to take a minute to comment because I AM YOUR BIGGEST FAN (seriously.) and I want to remind you of your awesomeness. I think this is one of your strongest chapters so far. It would have been so easy to send Jeff to Europe with Annie and have them fall in love and be all la-ti-da everything's perfect... but is that what would really happen? Not likely. I'm excited to see what will happen next! Keep up the awesome work. Oh, and I loved the legillimancy shout out. Way to combine two of my favorite things -- Harry Potter and Community. Kudos! :)

There is so much I want to write about this fic, that it would surely exceed the character limit. And all of it good, because this story is really fantastic.

I'll admit, I was disappointed that Jeff didn't go, but after reflecting on it a bit, it was the right decision, both character and story wise. Jeff is definitely not there yet, but I like how difficult this is for him. He does have Annie's welfare in mind, but he wouldn't be so deeply affected by this whole thing if he didn't have something on the line as well.

I do feel for Annie here, of course, and I hope she takes Britta's words to heart and enjoys herself to the fullest in Italy. She deserves it. I'm eager to get her reaction to being stood up.

And I've been reading your comments up thread. I doubt this chapter will drive readers away. There will be more raging, I suspect, but they'll keep coming back. And I hope you know we will hold you to your promise to fix it. ;-)
