Oh and Britta's text = perfection

Everyone feels like they're subjecting themselves to torture with this apparently (including me), so join the club.
Britta is the only one who could get away with being that blunt with Jeff and having him pay any attention.
West Wing username! .....right?

I loved this line: “Jeff, we are as good as we ever are.” She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “We talk without saying anything, have conversations without actually getting to the root of the problem, argue without resolving anything.” She dropped her hands to her hips. “Lather, rinse, repeat.”
Can't wait to read more!

Thank you so much for reading! The last chapter you posted on your (awesome!) fic was 4 right? I'm trying to keep up, but not doing a great job.

This made me laugh out loud! But I really admire your work with this. It always cheers me up to see another chapter is posted! Today I got on LJ at the very end of my lunch hour, and had to practically sit on my hands to keep me from clicking on the link becuase I KNEW once I started reading the chapter I wouldn't be able to stop. Didn't work though -- I read it anyway!
I think the last part I posted was Part Five. I am working on the last two now, but I don't want to publish them until they're both finished. I don't want to write myself into a corner! I'm the worst at that!
Anyway, can't wait to read more. Looking forward to it!

Again, so much to say...but the biggest one is, Jeff's head really IS a messed up place to be.
I loved the phone conversation with Andre and Shirley. Andre's final comment before Shirley took the phone has me curious, though. What would Shirley be right about? And then her final words to Jeff about him not knowing why he's really there.
Throwing his head back in frustration, Jeff groaned inwardly. “Shirley, I am no-” He froze then, his angry gaze landing on what was happening in the kitchen at that moment. “I gotta go,” he said abruptly before ending the call and rushing toward the patio door. He paused, counting to twenty. Slowly, he stepped into the house and surveyed the scene before him, allowing his sudden and not entirely coherent hatred to ebb slightly.
I particularly enjoyed this. Jeff's just about done with his denial when he freaks out at seeing Annie with Sergio's arms around her. Ahahaha. I love the way you wrote that. Very well done.
Why couldn’t she understand the situation she kept trying to shove him into ( ... )

I love that you pick up on so many of the subtle things I am putting in here. I promise every question you just asked me will be answered and then some.
For being a bunch of J/A shippers, it cracks me up how many people want Annie to screw the cook.
Thanks for reading sweetie!

Also, Shirley calling Jeff out on his lack of subtlety = favorite.

You're giggling through this and everyone else is saying how tortuous it is. I'm going with you on this one though I think :).
Shirley and Jeff anything is my favorite. Thanks for reading!

See, I think I'm giggling because it's torturous for Jeff, as opposed to being torturous for the readers. That's a tough tightrope to walk and you're doing it very well so far. Jeff deserves a little torture, if not TOO much more. Torturing the readers would be giving us miscommunication after misunderstanding after stupid, stupid fight. One of the reasons I (and probably all of us) love Jeff and Annie is because they actually understand each other really well. For some reason I always think of the picspam that veritas724 did for Investigative Journalism, where Annie pulls Jeff aside and has that weird little line about the army of raisins that Jeff barely even blinks at and totally gets, which Kerry points out could only happen with those two. And so much of what went on between them ( ... )
