Just got back from Thanksgiving with the in-laws. It was fun for the most part. We spent Turkey Day with Brian's dad which was nice and quiet, and then today Brian's mom had her own thanksgiving with the whole extended family which was not at all quiet (5 little ones under the age of ten and about fifteen adults). Tomorrow my cousin is getting married down on the South Shore. I'm on the North Shore. Boston is between us and the wedding is at 11am. I'm thinking we're going to leave at dawn to avoid all the Red Sox traffic. We're not going to go through Boston (of course) but even so it will probably be crazy. We actually won!!!! Who will be the underdog now?

I just hope they don't go nuts again and trash the city, but I have a feeling this is going to be a happy win, not a destructive win....

It's just weird to think that the last time the Red Sox won my 94 year old grandmother was in second grade.

1. If you give long essay tests to 156 students you have to grade 156 long essay tests. This is why multiple choice was invented. What on earth was I thinking?
