I remember. I'm living proof as to why we were all warned about drugs and alcohol at such a young age. Luckily, I've grown up tremendously, and I am not dying any time soon (knock on wood). I could still make MD. Someday. Right now, I'm good at what I do and finally making that paper! I love that I still have people around that knew me back then!

Well...we were all a lot more optimistic and ambitious in those days. I'd feel like a heel for not mentioning it when an opportunity arises.

I love it. Will never forget it, neither. My grandmother reminds almost twice a week..."you were going to be a cardiologist! Now you are cutting hair?! You used to be sooooo smart!"

Apparently, I'm not at a salon where I can bring in up to 200K yearly (just 'bout up there with a doc) and have lost any intelligence I once had. You know...whatever. Love that Nana.
