I never understood mean people. Why are people mean to nice people?

Do they get a JOY out of making people cry? Do they have a consideration towards other people's feelings AT ALL? Why is it that they only pick on people who don't deserve it?

They are mean to nice people because nice people react and give them the satisfaction of it. Also usually because the nice person did something to somehow alienate the mean one.

But that's my question...how does someone get satisfaction out of somebody being sad?

Have you ever wanted to say something mean to make somebody feel bad 'cause you were mad at them? Yes, you have, and you can't deny that.

It's like the same thing basically. Some people just feel the need to be mean more often.

And pwning somebody on the internet is basically the same thing, only diluted due to it being the internet. Both you and I have pwned people on the internet merely for being misled or different from ourselves.

It's not like you've never been mean to somebody and can't understand the point of being mean.

Overdoing the happy-innocent-naive-outgoing part of your personality is a pretty good way to get picked on in highschool.

I'm mean when they give me a reason to be mean. These people don't have any particular reason to be mean. I don't even talk to these girls and they've been picking on me since the 6th grade.
