New doll in process
This was another one that nearly went to the rubbish heap (can you compost a fairy?). I got a bad block of clay that when cured developed literally hundreds of moonies. Back From the Fairie Festival
Despite rain and recession it was still a fantastic event! I did not take many pictures as it rained both Friday and Sunday. Saturday was crazy busy for me with my Chataqua talk and most of my collectors came that day. Many of my sculpted friends fluttered off to their new homes! Celebrating the Resurrection.
OK so I have been slacking on updating stuff. For the fist time Dalton and I want to the annual Philadelphia Easter Sunday Zombie Crawl. We took "resurrection" a bit literally this year. About 900 zombies were shambling up South Street. Zombie Richard Simmons was my absolute favorite!

Commission is mostly done!
I swear they changed this clay. I had to carve her legs off and redo them....more moonies than I could have imagined! Another doll I started is a wreck for the same reason. I'll be using her to do a moonie repair tutorial.

I decided I hated the stool I made. I found a suitable dollhouse miniature, but the legs were too long and the harp did not fit so well, so I sawed them off, sanded the bottom, and presto! Harp stool! I have most of the body shaping done, then comes my favorite part: the details!
