Just now, I was informed by one of my good friends that he is going to be a dad.  He is extremely excited, but wow-- this is the first of my close friends to really have kids.  It's rather... odd.  I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later-- but it also makes me feel as old as I am-- I don't like that ( Read more... )

    I havent had a lot of time to post here, I've been helping a friend out-- keeping him busy after a bad break-up.  Also been helping him with his java homework for school (I dont really know Java that well-- but... well-- somehow I can solve all his college-senior class problems).  The last few weeks have been overall great.  I've been hanging ( Read more... )

    Now that things seem to be looking on the up, I think I'm going to start planning for the future better than I have in the past.  I know I've improved vastly over the last few years handling money, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.  Financially I'm not in the best position right now, but I'll be able to knock those things out ( Read more... )

    Finally, some good news.  Seems like the first in awhile.  I got the job at Security Benefit!  WOOT!  It'll be nice working for a company that has such great benefits... finally will be able to take care of myself how I'd like to, it's such a relief.  School is also a really good option since they'll pay for me to go back.  I'm excited!  I'm ( Read more... )
