A happy place
I snuggled in a quiet corner in a familiar place surrounded with friends all doing their own things. There is too much food to eat, warm stories and silly videos to share, and I'm still a little drunk on the joy of just being.
Some nights, I'm just so thankful that I could burst. -

Today was first time I've ever sneaked out of the house at 3am in the morning and got drenched in the morning thunderstorm for two whole minutes before going back home and finding the door bolted from inside. There is a calmness about taking time to build myself up together again that feels right.
