can you get that shrink plastic stuff to put over your windows? that helped a lot at my apartment. or is there somewhere you could hang a blanket from in front of the window? that helps with drafts too.

To everyone: Thanks for your sympathy. I really needed it. :) Heat is back on now, and while the shower was still cold yesterday, it was hot today (first actually hot shower I've had in a week!!!!! you have no idea how good that feels). I also have an electric heater, courtesy of the residence office, which is good for them, because I was working myself up to asking for money back. you know, the money that paid for the heating that I didn't have. oh well
