Why did vampires get hurt when the got choked in BUFFY and ANGEL? That was always mildly hilarious.

Fascinating.

But, for future reference, rigor mortis has nothing to do with blood flow. It has to do with ATP and muscle fibers. And rigor mortis subsides after 36 hours resulting in a completely limp body.

Anyway, now I'll be wondering how blood flows through vampires. Hmmm...

Rigor Mortis only lasts a few hours. Its a chemical reaction in the muscle tissue, which eventually relaxes despite what popular television series would have you believe :)

Similarly, muscle contractions can be accomplished without blood flow with electrical stimulus... os maybe vampires are all just kinky? ;)
