Today out of the blue, a friend sent me something sweet and sentimental.  Her company was looking at porting some games i used to work on (for another company), and she got some swag in the form of beanie-sized stuffed toys of the main characters.  ;-)  i was so happy and i squeed in delight.  thank you,

I've been keeping up with Tara's LJ.  I'm wondering with the giant statue, the mix of new and old technologies and the ability to move the island... what part Atlantis might play here.  i don't see it interfering with any of the other theories... dead, alive, heaven, hell, etc.

as many of y'all know, Matt and I are starting renovations to the house.  This year's big projects:  Front walk / entry way and Kitchen.  Today was (literally) the ground breaking of the front walk.  Though I expect problems to crop up throughout the projects... i didn't expect it to start so soon.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Today we had brunch with Matt's Family.  it was loud and crazy and TASTY.  i got flowers.  ;-)

When we came home, Allie and Matt surprised me with Pressies!!!  Allie wrote a mock news paper article on how i'd won Mother of the Year.  ;-)  and got me a Begonia.  and they got me....
