I didn't know you were back in Birmingham. I am really glad you wrote this update. You have had a hell of a year H.
from what i've figured out, the best way i can love someone is appreciate them for the gifts they give to me and to the world, love them for who they are and in spite of their "humanness", forgive them their mistakes without condoning poor choices, and call them on their bullshit when needed.

It's not going to hurt any at all. And you definitely have everything to gain. I'm glad someone has been treated nicely by AZ. It's been beyond horrible to me. I'm beginning to think we are completely incompatible!
I'm sorry that you've been having such a rough time of it. I totally sympathize on the house stuff. We have a roof leak too that we don't have the money to remedy right now, and there were winters when the downstairs heater went out and we restricted our living to the upstairs because we couldn't pay for the service call. I really do believe in serendipity/synchronicity, though, and I think the time was right for you to move back if only temporarily.
And I know how it feels to be let down by someone on a pedestal. Such a reality check. Humans are humans.
