It's been, what, 3 years since my last confession? Something like that. Just like I say every time I come back here and post, I really miss it. I miss the friends I made here. I miss the interactions. I DON'T miss the drama but I will take it to have some of that fun back. I miss being young! Haha ( Read more... )

Can't say I've ever seen Die Antwoord but now I want to. I need some manic energy.

Sorry you have had so many October losses. A friend of a friend committed suicide during October while I was in college and a very good long term friend whose birthday was in October died of cancer two summers ago.

Die Antwoord is possibly an acquired taste. Be forewarned! I love them, though.

I'm sorry for your October losses, too, honey. My mother-in-law was killed in an auto accident 9 years ago, my step sister took her own life in October about that same time. This October I lost a really good friend of mine to septic shock and my step-father-in-law had an aortic aneurysm rupture. This September my younger half sister died unexpectedly, too. So yeah. Enough is enough!

That is way too much loss for one month. Holy sh!t...
I lost my Dad in November (2013), but I miss him more in late May, since his birthday is right before Memorial Day (which is fitting now that he his but a memory).
