WHO: Masaru and Belphegor WHAT: Masaru agrees to spar iwth Belphegor at the dojo WHEN: backlogged, August 29 4pm WHERE: the dojo WARNINGS: With the "Big Problem" and the Assasin Prince? Probably XD
Bel was already there. He'd gone early to scope out the place and find some weapons. What he found was no better than butter knives, but they'd do just fine for a little play time.
In his Varia coat over a red and black striped shirt, the prince awaited Masaru's arrival.
Sure enough, after about 15 minutes, the dojo was empty save for Masaru and a blonde guy wearing a coat. Seeing as how the other male seemed to be waiting for someone, Masaru decided it was probably safe to assume this was Belphegor and approached him.
"You must be Belphegor. So, find the weapons you were looking for?" Bel had never mentioned what he specialized in using, but Masaru didn't care. He was sure that he could handle anything with his fists, save for that one guy with the tonfas, but Masaru's brain of course kept that memory tucked in a FAR corner of his mind. Looking the blonde over, Masaru certainly didn't think the other looked like an assasin, then again, he'd seen stranger things before.
"Heh," Masaru clenched his fists eagerly, "Alright then. Ready when you are." The brunette moved to the center of the dojo, and put his fists up in a fighting pose.
"You first." Time to see just what this assasin could do.
"Ushishishi~~" he laughed, pulling his hands out of his pockets, revealing knives seemingly floating between his hands, winding around him. They were rubber sparring knives, but that wasn't what Masaru should really be worried about.
[ooc: sorry i didn't see the reply D:. and for what he's doing, see the icon]
Masaru was caught off-guard by that. "THE HELL?! I thought we were sparring not doing magic tricks!!" Oh yeah, Masaru had no clue what he was up against, but after that, his overconfidence was going to get the better of him.
"Whatever, ready or not, here I come!!" Masaru announced boldly as he rushed forward to deliver his usual punch to the face.
((ooc:Sorry >> I fail too.... I didn't get online that much this week ;;;;))
Masaru skidded to keep his momentum from causing him to fall over. Guardian of the wind? What the HELL? "We'll see about that!!" the brunette yelled before he doubled back and went in for another punch, this time ready to strike with his other fist if the other dodged to the side again.
psychological warfare wasn't the most effective against Masaru, especially not once his overconfidence took over. He would just keep on attacking until: A) he defeated his opponent or B) He was knocked out or seriously harmed.
Seeing the knife thrown at him, Masaru moved out of the way, but didn't pay any attention to it after it whizzed past.
"Is that all you've got? Take this!" he yelled, aiming a kick at the blonde. Needless to say, he was getting frustrated his failure to connect his attacks, but as also glad to know that Bel wouldn't be easily taken down. As impressed as Masaru was with the blonde's dodging skills, though, he was waiting to see more of his attacks.
Bel once again glided out of the way, a huge playful grin drawn across his small features, but this time, Masaru wasn't unscathed. He'd find a fine cut forming across his cheek.

Rubber knives would make play a bit difficult but that didn't matter to the prince. He was a genius.
So the prince tossed a knife towards Masaru. It rounded a column in the distance, returned a few feet, then seemingly hung there.
