Got  my first C in college.
Alittle upset about it, but feel like an idiot about being upset about it.

So, summer is almost over. And I have no idea where it went. And school starts soon and I have no idea how that is going to go.

In brighter news- this is the last week of work for me. And I have saved up a fair amount of money and hopefully will be working for a company while at school (and if that doesn't work out, I can always try McDonalds again ( Read more... )

Without a doubt I believe racial profiling/discrimination exists and occurs often. Maybe no intentionally  but everyone has prejudices and those prejudices affect how we treat and approach certain situations.

The question becomes- does that make you racist?

I kind of like Sotomayor, I mean nothing particularly makes me dislike her and therefore not want her to be confirmed.
And this whole hoopla about her comment about a wise latina woman is really started to sound like a scapegoat/sheild for conservative racism.

I began work at the FDA on the 26th of May and so far everything is been going pretty well. Since I am returning, I know everyone and therefore do not have to go through that akward/shy period.
