The answer is no - for this kind of dream, I don't parse marching orders. Direct orders usually come in the form of just that - direct orders.

If it's simple, I'll just do it.

If it's loud but I'm not sure I've got it right, I'll do divination the next day to determine if I've got it right.

Anything drastic is going to get me saying back "Ok, I accept that you're saying this, but I require external confirmation". I've got locked-down entries in this journal where I've recorded a dream with drastic orders pending confirmation, and either it got resolved, or it's still pending, and as far as I'm concerned, They have enough power to send a clear message when it matters, so if They can't be bothered to, it's not yet my problem.

It may not be obvious, but I really do have a system for filtering what comes through. It's just more fun, sometimes, to rant humorously for a little while in the process of recording the partial-messages.
