Gender
I spend a fair amount of time, as of late, engaging with the idea of gender. It's been interesting getting to know some Trans folk because I have absolutely no way to empathise with their experience - it isn't that I'm like, "I'm a girl, and I've always known I was a girl because of XYZ!", I'm a girl and that's just a thing and I don't feel ( Read more... ) -
School Searching
So, I'm beginning the search for PhD programs, and I've decided going in that I'm going to be really picky about where I apply - I'm very, very grateful for my current placement, and I'm learning and growing here in leaps and bounds and getting benefits I wouldn't elsewhere (like a fully funded MA and two years of experience as a lead instructor), ( Read more... ) -

I am so stinking excited for this term to be over - for this (academic) year to be over. I love my friends. I do.
