Congratulations! That's wonderful! Sorry about the killed darlings, but I'm sure you're right that they did not die in vain and they made it a superb rather than merely excellent novel.

Thanks! The verbicide paid off in, if nothing else, a much smaller number of pages to typeset.

The editing process--learning how, applying it, learning more, doing more (repeat to a total of 11 drafts)--has been a thrilling and mind-expanding experience.
