My boyfriend read that series by George R. R. Martin last summer. Maybe I'll have to read them!

It's a really awesome series. It's technically a fantasy series, but it's not your typical one. It's very political and he develops the characters incredibly well. I loved it. I can't wait until the next book comes out in the fall.
