Why is it that smoke alarm batteries never die in the middle of the day??

Things are still going very well. Celebrated my 25th birthday on Saturday. Nice and quiet. Just the way I liked. bad news.
my TB test came back positive.
This is not good.
1. Joanna backdated the test because I forgot to see her a week ago. And I told her that it would be negative so no big deal.
2. Now I have to get a chest x ray to prove that I don't have TB. Which means they prolly won't let me work today.
