Oh squee, someone who reads Robin Hobb! Haven't read all her books, by any means, but mostly enjoyed the ones I did read.... especially the Liveship trilogy. The Assassin trilogy was interesting at first, but sort of went on for too long. Drearily. I normally don't have a problem finishing a book, but I skimmed through the last one in the series just to get to the end of it. And as I recall it was pretty miserable!

The Assassin trilogy is actually some of those rare books I have just passed on to charity without a pang of regret.

From what I've heard here I think I'll give the soldier-son books a miss..
