I think I dropped out of LJ more and more, as FB took over... Ordered a pile of books last week from Amazon, they are beginning to arrive now. Jasper Fforde, a new acquaintance, with an appealing wackiness and love of literature... Bliss. Now all I need to do is lock myself away and hide from the family so I can be alone with my new friends....

Sore throat and temperature. Daughter also sore throat, sore tummy, really really tired. Turns out she has glandular fever. Poor thing. The lace butterfly I am making matches a Posh Frock I have that I could wear to my friend K's birthday party. Must finish the butterfly and wear it as a brooch. I rarely get the chance to wear Posh Frocks so must make the most of it.

Frivolous? Yes. And I'm standing for it. Have what fun you can while ye may. So there.

This is actually rather scary, guys. A group called LSD (Love Should Die) has been engineering a campaign against the "sequel" to Phantom, "Love Never Dies" and it now turns out they've got resources beyond anything I could ever have imagined....

Spring snowflakes rioting in the park,  I've seen my first coltsfoot.... have been able to put the rabbit out in the garden... He whizzes around in the pen, leaping with joy and then settles down to try to dig his way out....

When I get into the pen, he does a happy dance, running round and round me until I feel dizzy.
