As many of you may remember from last year, my favorite cause is Alzheimer's Research.  My Grandpa and several of his siblings suffered from this horrible disease.

Deven seems to be teething.  It isn't too bad right now, but there are no teeth actually cutting through the gums yet.

He is really starting to show his own little personality.  and he is coooool.  He thinks diaper changes are hilarious.  He thinks that mommy and daddy in general are hilarious.  He thinks loud noises are scary.

this weekend so far i have made chicken shepard's pie, crockpot enchiladas and southern chicken pot pie.  tonight for dinner i am making chicken breasts stuffed with goat cheese and olive tampenade.

also, i am seriously  considering giving up meat all together when i work through what we have on hand.
 

OH MY GOD.

I have severe pain behind my right eye and my face hurts. I'm hoping the Vaporub kicks in and works soon.

On a completely unrelated note, my house is a fucking mess and I need to clean it today.

I have got to learn to entertain myself. I am bored out of my fucking mind already.

This weekend was my holiday party and annual meeting. It's a big event that we all look forward to. This year's event was held at the Pfister in Milwaukee (a pretty fancy historic hotel).
