it was the first week of freshman year and amy and i were fruitlessly trying to figure out how to get our freakin' clothes clean. in the midst of our frustration we struck up a conversation with these two cool-seeming guys who were also hanging out in the laundry room (where the cool kids play). about the role of women in the church, as i recall.
