I was reading an essay by a philosopher called "Poetic Terrorism" and he said the best kind of art is art that defaces what is ugly, addresses what is regressive and slanders these things as well. He also suggests that this be done in an alias that isn't your own so that you don't get caught, because the point of this art is progression, which can be offensive, and so with a name attached people will learn to ignore the artwork instead of take the message in. He also says avoid politics, politics are boring.

Oh wait, ooops... the people that leave anonymous posts are big pussies, not badass poetic terrorists.

alright. i see where you are going with this.
but don't you think that labeling antagonistic anonymous posts as badass poetic terrorits is giving them a little too much credit? if an individual speaks openly against an injustice, i can understand that. but if it is just mean, shouldn't THAT be defaced because it is hurtful?

my only point was that virtual reality can give some individuals (generally speaking, no one person or situation in perticular here) the ability to say nasty, at times uncalled for things without retribution. in livejournal, on message boards, in chat rooms and on websites.

Yeah that's why I said in the end they were just big pussies. I agreed with your post.
