what? at least its a black shoe, i only have a red felt tip for brown ones which doesn't really work as well.

When I was at school, we had to go down to the cellar every Wednesday and polish our shoes until matron determined that they were sufficiently shiny. Years later, we had to polish our boots in the cadets until you could see your face in them. I fear that I may have been conditioned. I feel much happier when I have gleaming shoes, and I'm not sure that I would be comfortable with felt-tipping my Church's.

my dad once polished my combat boots. i was fuming, took me months to get them looking like they'd been dredged from the wreck of the titanic.

I presume that "church's" are some kind of posh shoe, mine cost £4.99 from the discount shop. Felt tip pen is somewhat better than they should be accustomed to.
