Thanks for stopping by Janus. I would love to contact the other side of the fam. but perhaps its best not to. I don't want to harp on cemetries and such, but I was at another funeral last month. I thought I would like to have my ashes chucked into the Indian Ocean but this cemetry looked kinda nice. heh

Running amongst the sleeping... anonymous September 26 2006, 09:30:15 UTC
Running in a cemetary at night is completely understandable, but running during the day might be considered showing off. I don't think it's at all strange that your father wandered off to be buried in a nice shady spot close by people with the same name, probably figured - "this is nicer and no one will notice, I will just blend". I can imagine you doing something of the kind.

I, too, have noticed the increasing frequency of funerals in my life and I can only imagine it gets worse as we get older. I guess that is the point. We get older and so does everyone we know, and we are more subject to the vagaries of time and the ills that befall.

Thanks for stopping by Ned. I will try to write more often and entice you back *wink*
