Ten days ago Nathan my son went on his first ever trip overseas to Bali. As his mother I felt it was my duty to give him some good advice. I told him (a) hold your hand over your glass of drink at all times. (b) don’t take a boogie board with you, (an Australian girl did this and is now in jail in Bali. Apparently drugs were found in her boogie

Sometimes Mom-dar gets jammed when you are at work and busy. I left my mom 2 messages to ask her for some info I needed for some paperwork, and then to call her back to let her know that I got it and she didn't have to bother with it and all was well.

She saw that I called twice and if she didn't check her voice mail probably would of called a lawyer to check for me at the local jails and sent out the local militia to look for me.

Glad Nates ok, breath well and be glad the Mom-dar was just a bit off. :)

Yep, thank goodness it was wayyy off this time. Have taken some deep breaths and am almost back to normal. Whatever normal is for me *grin*

Adrenaline rushes

There isn't much point in being a mother if you can't occasionally experience a sharp intake of breath, emit a scream or jump to conclusions. It really doesn't matter if they are taking their first steps or taking their first driving lesson or tempting the law with a boogie board in Bali.

Hi Gone. If you are gone again does that mean you are now went? Thanks for stopping by.
My philosophy is, if you don't look it isn't there. So far its worked, but of course Im not looking too closely.
