Pity it was such a flurry in the end, though I guess it was a bit inevitable - good for the charity shops' benefitting! Have a lovely mini break in Kuala Lumpur!

Well it was more organised than my last move, so perhaps next time will be fine? I just forgot about things like our rubbish and recycling bins filling up, thus necessitating trips to the waste recycling centre. Ah well. And here's hoping the poor charity shop dealt with the last load of random stuff OK - at least this time I didn't accidentally drop off my dirty laundry like when I left Australia - improvement!

I think it was also the messiness that got me! Without any table or shelves we just had random piles of stuff waiting to be collected/thrown out/packed etc. We will be with family until we find a house so there is some relief for a while :)

I lost track of time and forgot you were travelling already! I know you'll be sad to leave some things in the UK, but I can't help being vicariously excited for someone who is moving from a cold climate to a nice warm one...

Hurray for returning home! Enjoy Kuala Lumpur and I hope the rest of the trip home is easier and uneventful and congratulations on the job!

Yes I understand, I just smiled and smiled when I got off the plane here and felt the lovely warm air. And it rained big fat tropical raindrops. Are you letting climate help influence your grad school choice?

And thanks!
