When P does his daily handwriting practice, he always asks to write "Philip says hello to Lily. Lily says hello to Philip." Clearly we were discussing betrothal with the wrong son.

Today we went to the Cougar Mountain Zoo. They have tiger cubs, 9 and 12 weeks old. ZOMG the cute. They bring them out for show and play twice a day (currently 1 and 4

I love the photos of my little one's first birthday, with chocolate cupcake all over his face. Now I can't even get him to eat the bloody things.

Oh, and when I was going through his school stuff, I found a post-it note that had "I love you, Bailey" written on it, and he keeps telling me "Bailey always says she's going to marry me someday, what should I do about that?"

Confuses me sometimes, because there's also a "Bailee" or some other spelling at that school who's male.

Yeah, P's firsy birthday included lots of chocolate, but he won't touch it now either.

P brought home stuff signed "love, Leia" a few times, but seems oblivious.

C told me he was going to marry Miriam one day (let's see, she's his dad's cousin's kid, so that would be... second cousin?). Miriam's father said "you and I are going to have a little chat in about ten years, boy."
