Heartwarming to read of Pip's progress! I like his capitulation to peer pressure, or is it feminine wiles ;-).

In the past he's generally ignored his peers, so I'm going for feminine wiles. She apparently keeps an eye out for him at recess and stuff, too.

Since you mention Pip, I was actually wondering if some time one of you grownups and he would like to go with me for a visit to the air & space museum. And if Pip's up for meeting new kids we could bring along my friend Sean and his daughter Olivia.

Yes! We will be away for a bit, but between Thanksgiving and Symphony Holiday Insanity would work, otherwise we're probably looking at winter break.

Isn't it cool to watch the little ones make such great strides? I don't talk about it much because I don't want to jinx it, but C has really taken off with his reading over the last few months.

Now if I could just get him to *eat*. Hooray little boys turning into big boys!

I found notes in Conor's backpack from two different girls. One of them claims she's going to marry him someday, the other one says "I didn't steal you from Cassie" with hearts and a princess drawn on it.

Oh dear. I should send in a note that says "Dear Cassie, please make Conor eat all of his lunch."
