Ok, if there's one thing all my friends have in common its that they all enjoy reading. And because you all like to read, you've all probably read some very good things and I want to know what they are. If you wanna read something uber sad that is good but will make you cry for days I suggest The Time Travelers Wife. I also like Chuck Palahniuk's work, so if you feel like being mentally disturbed I'd say go for some of that. I also recently read Memoirs of a Geisha and Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe, both of which I enjoyed.

Um.... well, seeing as how I now live in dampville, I could use another set of cute rainboots. And you know me, you can never go wrong with art supplies! I don't know what to give you either... I have some ideas but I'm just not sure!

Um, gift-wise . . . I don't know if you really have time to make anything (I know you're making your mom a sweater) but if you do, long fingerless gloves as seen here would be cool:

you have to scroll down to the Sunday, August 13 post. Though I think they should end right before the elbow and not go past it. I don't want to sound like I'm putting in an order as I always like what you pick out for me. :)

I think the last set of books I couldn't put down was the His Dark Materials series by Phillip Pullman (starting with The Golden Compass, which I believe is called Northern Lights in the UK).

I am going to keep checking this post, because I don't know what to read either, but I love it when I have something good to read. :0)

Heya! Well, you know me, I'm all about the fantasy novels with kick-ass female characters. So recently: 1) Rose Daughter by Robin McKinley, a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Interesting take, and the writing is just gorgeous and lyrical and still down earth, as it were ( ... )
