i just spotted my dad online for a moment. he was in ireland. im assuming that was a scheduled stop on the way to iraq. he had left his laptop hibernating accidentally and the battery was dying, and the damned irish have foreign plugs so he couldnt charge it.
but that was a nice bonus to get to talk to dad for a few minutes. -

i think i say this every year when they try this but...
on may 15th i will have places i need to be. i will have things i need to get done that wont be able to wait. i will buy gas if i need it. a one day non gas buying event will not lower the price of a gallon of gas or a barrel of oil. -
