so i got a 3.38 gpa for winter quarter. aka my last quarter at cbc. that's quite an improvement from fall quarter, in which i pulled out a 2.3 gpa. and all my parents said about it, was "print that out so we can send it in to the insurance company." i love making my parents proud ( Read more... )

So I correctly predicted 17 of the 24 Academy Award winners.

Philip Seymour Hoffman is the fucking man. There is something i truly love about that guy. Congrats to him for best performance by an actor in a leading role.

Oh yeah, and George Clooney has now got to be my favorite Hollywood leading man. He is one awesome dude.

So this woman and her son were in my line at work today checking out. This is what i overheard:

Mother talking teen: "Well if you get a slice of pizza, then you're having cereal for dinner."
Teen: "Okay."

what an awesome mother. seriously knows how to treat her kids to healthy meals.

so i realized something today. i don't need an education to have a happy life. i need a happy life to get an education. im taking spring quarter off. and that's final.

It's fucking embarrassing that movies such as Underworld:Evolution and When a Stranger Calls top the week's box office, racking in over $20 million in one weekend. While amazing films such as Capote, Brokeback Mountain, Munich, Good Night and Good Luck struggle, never making it to #1. You should be ashamed of yourselves America.
