New York was nothing short of amazing... I got to the airport Sunday morning and made my flight in a timely manner. A quick skip over to Denver for a three and a half hour layover that I spent in the airport bar watching football. So, I just returned home from gathering pretty much the last of my things from my condo. A small pile of clothes to be donated, my cleaning supplies and a couple of odds and ends are all that remains in that empty space I called home for 5 months ( Read more... )

Edit: I'm giving up my condo and moving in with a close friend. He has an awesome german sheppard so axis will have a pal. Room is kinda small, but my costs of living will be cut in half.

I'm looking forward to the holiday season. :)

We do an awful lot of talking but we don't do very much listening. We observe a lot, but how much do we understand? We absorb amazing amounts of information, yet it often seems as if we actually learn very little. Don't look back. Well, do if you want... but don't do so for long. What's gone is gone. No matter how good it was, how much it meant to you, how sorely you miss it, you have to move forward. The real joy of your current situation is that it offers you an excellent chance to make progress. You can go somewhere well worth going.
