I keep an angry rant style list of my accomplisments in my head at the ready. It's really useful, sometimes I even get to use it out loud!

ie:
Mother - Person X's kid just finished their Y degree in the top Zth percentile of their class!
Me - Yeah, well, I can A, and B, C! I'd like to see them try D!
