I hope 2020 treats you well. It sounds like moving your mother closer would make life a lot less hectic.

It hasn't been the easiest half decade for you, has it! And that constant change between your now home and your Mom's must be so disorientating - I'd be forever looking for stuff that was in the other place. But hurrah for the good things in there too, thank goodness.

I turn 65 soon, lots of my life & experiences are in the rear view mirror.

I just did, a couple of days ago -and that view in the mirror seems to go back an awfully long way now! but there is still a lot of road in front beckoning me to explore - lets hope we are both going to have a really interesting trip :)

I hope life will be easier if you move your Mom down to Georgia for the rest of the winter - do you think she might just stay after that?

May 2020 and the next ten years have all the joys, and more, of the last ten and fewer not-so-good things.

It is good to think over the decade, isn't it? I posted a photo a year.

Best wishes for 2020

I'm near your age, and that rear view mirror is loooong. But I try to look ahead. I hope that 2020 treats you better than the last few years! I'd hate to be shuttling between two homes. For the last year and a half my mother was very sick/dying and it was hell even though we were both here in NYC.
