things have been in a general state of Ok.
i feel as if a lot of people/things have been leaving lately.

everyone is going on trips or vacations or moving. and it just happens that they are all people who i care a lot about

I bet that dad was hot. Eliz just bought a BLUE St. Catherine's school sweatshirt. I wonder if it's the same place. Champagne should be good for a pretty long time unrefrigerated, but keep it cool and dry [if possible], out of the sun, and at a stable temp. That works for most consumables of which I know.
