So, after being clean for 6 months, I'm considering getting back into online gaming. No worries, I don't tend to disappear off the face of the earth when I play (if I notice I'm starting to do that, I take a break for a few months. Real Life > Gaming). The reason I'm posting about it is to give some of you fair warning. :)

Oh yes, something else...
"How to Train Your Dragon" is a fun film, even if you don't watch it in 3D. Very cute, and a lot of wit in the writing/dialogue.
So far, only "Avatar" is a movie I'd insist on someone seeing 3D at least once. Other movies I can mentally note where a 3D element would have been added. Case and point: flying tea cups, crashing debris, or a ( Read more... ) -

Cirque du Soleil: Alegrìa
Off to see Alegrìa live with mothoc. I'm excited, as I've enjoyed the DVD of this show for a while now. I'll also be interested to see how much changed between the Grand Chapiteau and the arena setups (I saw Saltimbanco in an arena setup, but having never watched the DVD nor seen the live show, I had no way to compare). -

Webcomic artist Garth Graham posts his thoughts on the movie "Avatar". Some I agree with, some I see his angle but don't agree, and some I don't see but they make me think. A review worth reading, if only for that.
