January has gotten off to a cold start. We had a dusting of snow, but it's gone now. We'll see how long that lasts.

Neville planned to spend New Year's Eve quietly. He didn't care about that 'New Year, new you' nonsense.
He settled into the reading nook of his small flat with a book on exotic plants, his favorite slippers, and a fragrant cup of green tea with a hint of citrus.
The fireplace across the room chimed with an incoming firecall. Neville flicked his wand at it and saw Harry grinning at him through the flames.
"Come join us at the Leaky, Nev! Everyone is here: me, Ron, Dean, George, Charlie--"
"Charlie?" blurted Neville. "Let me get my coat and shoes!"
