i just came to say hello
I watched Social Network and Mark Z was posting on LJ.... it's been a while. I've read a lot of books and watched a lot of movies this past month ...and I have so many ideas coursing through my brain, I think I'll be checking in more often.

Revelations
The more I think about all the horrors of this world, the more I want to create balance, to create my own haven. Otherwise it's a dark road to apathy and then... Blank pages. That really is my struggle .... How to live my life without feeling selfish (it is so unfair how lucky I am...) and how to give without giving away to the point of depletion

I find that I have regained control of myself, for the most part. I am not ALLOWING gloom to enter my mind; I know from experience that one thought can spur an avalanche of painful memories and self-sabotage.

it really sucks that in the....six ? years i've been on livejournal, i have yet to come to terms with myself and am still dealing with the same exact issues. it's crippling. it's paralyzing. it's emotionally FUCKED UP. i am thankful for the people in my life though it seems that most are really not that thankful for me. i keep telling myself i ( Read more... )
