i'm caught in a blizzard, in an end-of-the year blizzard. i hope it all sorts itself out.

today absolutely sucks. it just does. but maybe this time i can just sing to myself, "smiiiiiiiile, whats the use in crying? when there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by, if you just smile"

but wow am i upset

so this is about the schism between venus and mars. about unforeseen illness and really spectacular friends and one maybemorethanfriend. and how those maybemorethanfriends comfort my soul and how their smile makes me smile. about wanting the one thing i swore i would never ever ever want. this is about mountains. and climbing them in stilettos. going to Leiden this summer! and much more. exciting. failing miserably in the area of academics but pretty much the happiest ive ever been in every other aspect.
