Christmas wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be.  We went out of town for the holiday to Boyne Ski Resort in northern Michigan.  It was fun, I'm glad we did it, but I also realize how much I love being at home for Christmas.  I knew that this would be a difficult one, as Christmas Eve was the one year anniversary of my father dying,
