The thing about this sort of rejection is the underlying sense of being objectified. It's like the person went comparison shopping, assessed your features, and decided you weren't what they were looking for. It sucks all the more if they go for a newer model instead. Better match, maybe, good for them. But it still ain't fun sitting on the shelf.

I think most people fall into the trap of comparing themselves to other models. ("What does SHE have that I don't have?" etc.) Don't. Matatalo ka lang. There will always be something another has that you don't, something you have that they don't, and it doesn't even really matter. You have to ask yourself what you want. You may be annoyed because you felt like you settled for something that didn't settle for you, but nobody ever said you had to settle.

Well, it's four years and counting. That's enough to do anyone in. As i said, I'm mostly happy, except in that aspect.

I don't compare unless I have to--like say, when I have someone to compare myself to na (with Pooh, wala pa naman thankfully AND hopefully hahaha). In my line of work, if I fall into the habit (trap!) of comparing myself, I'd be commited to an institution in Mandaluyong like that. ;D

Leica, you know me, I don't like settling. There's a difference between settling and having your heart set on someone.

so na established na may right person, so ang kulang ng lang ang right time.. since we cant really manipulate time, so the best we can do is make the most out of each time and every minute diba. not for anyone but for yourself..

I dunno, my brain is pessimistic enough to think there's no right one for me.

I have too much time on my hands. I can't wait for Apil to start and all my projects to roll in. Kahit na projects from Ms PR, ok lang. Maloka man ako sa kanya and her demands, at least it gets me out of my funk. oh, and I'm on schedule to get a massage, hit the beach, and start going to the gym. Time to pamper myself again.

For me, now is as good a reason as any to be sad. :i

Kai, of course I need to mention you're green minded. That's an integral part of you, one of your best qualities, I should say. Hahaha! You won't be kaibo without your green mind. ;D
