I have always believed in that. Whether it's meeting a person or having something happen to you, there will always be a reason for it.

Last Saturday was an event with a major reason behind it. It was the christening of Myles's (mylesgj) very cute daughter, who I'm now the proud godmother of--but that isn't the life reason. At the lunch tendered at ( Read more... )

The point is, this old friend of mine texted me a piece of news tonight, said news heartbreaking to me. The ultimate point of all of this is: I didn't cry!

I don't think this means you aren't a crybaby anymore. It just means that you've moved on and any sadness you still feel is only residual or instinctive, not really heartbreak :D which is great news for everyone especially my future papa-san, wherever he is!
