That was utterly chilling. I was swept up in the raw emotion of what was happening, feeling the breath on my face, my heart pounding. That last line, I think, is what shifts it from intense to kind of scary.

This is powerful and chilling. The use of onomatopoeia here actually worked for me. Recording this should be a good idea.

This was so physical, between the sound and the description of the body ("You feel her stiffen, then soften, her tendons . . ."). You did such a great job with this!
